Our creative home
Useful ideas.
Wild imagination.
Some ideas bring order to everyday life. Others invite us to leave it behind for a while.
Mainely Creative and Design gives both kinds room to take root.
Where Ideas Take Root.
Practicality and wonder
belong together.
MCAD is a founder-led creative home with two distinct brands. Calm Nest helps make life calmer and more manageable through practical digital tools. Valen invites imaginative escape through stories, atmosphere, and creative experiences.
Each has its own world. What connects them is a shared belief that useful things can be beautiful, and imagination deserves a place in ordinary life.
Meet the Founder
Hi, I’m Kelly.
Founder, Mainely Creative and Design
I created MCAD as a home for two kinds of creativity: the useful ideas that make everyday life a little easier, and the imaginative ones that invite us somewhere else.
Calm Nest is our practical side. Valen is our imaginative side. Both begin with the same care for thoughtful design, meaningful details, and the people who spend time with them.
I’m glad you’re here.
